for threads, tips and links worth keeping
Save tweets you can actually find again
X bookmarks only live inside X. In Posto, every saved post keeps its text and author, sits next to the articles and videos it’s about, and comes back when you have time for it.
How to save a tweet to Posto
- On X, tap the share icon on the post and choose Copy link. Links from x.com and twitter.com both work.
- Paste it into Posto — press ⌘V or Ctrl+V anywhere outside a text box, or tap + and paste.
- Posto reads the post through X’s public embed, so the card shows the post’s text and author.
- Add a note or tags if you like, and save. It waits in your Inbox until you decide what it’s for.
Skip the copy-paste on Android. Install Posto from Chrome (Add to Home Screen or Install app) and it appears in your share sheet — on Android, and on desktop browsers that support sharing to web apps. On iPhone, copy the link and paste it into Posto: iOS doesn’t let web apps join the share sheet.
The text is saved with the card
Because the post’s text is stored on the card, it’s searchable like everything else you keep — and it stays in your scrapbook even if the original is later deleted. Media stays on X: open the card and tap Original to see the post there.
Posto saves the single post you link to, not a whole thread. For a long thread, save the first post and jot down why it mattered in the note.
From bookmark pile to things you actually read
Most saved tweets point at something bigger: an article, a video, a tool, a lesson. Posto is built to get you back to them.
- Sort the Inbox with one key — T Today, L Later, R Learn, E Done.
- A short plan every day. Posto picks a few things from your Today, Learn and Later shelves — two by default — so the pile shrinks instead of growing.
- Learning topics. Everything on your Learn shelf is grouped by topic (AI, Coding, Design, Startups, Marketing…) with progress and what’s next.
- Ask in plain words. “What did I save from X about AI this month?” filters by platform, topic and time in one go.
No X account connection
Posto doesn’t log into X and can’t see your bookmarks, likes or account. It only knows the posts you give it. On the free plan your scrapbook stays on your device; Pro adds backup and sync across devices.
Questions
Can Posto import my X bookmarks?
No. Posto doesn’t connect to your X account, so it can’t read your bookmarks. Save the posts you want to keep by link or share.
What happens if the tweet is deleted?
Your card keeps the text and author Posto saved, plus your notes and tags. The link to the original will stop working.
Does it work with LinkedIn, Reddit and TikTok too?
Yes. Posto recognises posts and videos from LinkedIn, Reddit, TikTok, YouTube and Instagram, and saves any other web page as a link card.
Is it free?
Yes, for up to 100 saves with no account. Posto Pro removes the limit and syncs your devices — see pricing.
